In 2000, Primary Source Media asked me to advise them on their microfilm project which focuses on the history of science and medicine as it relates to women’s history. I also wrote a 2500-word introductory essay explaining the collection, noting the highlights, and making suggestions to fellow teachers about how to use the collection. I do like this collection—the sources made me feel like I had a time machine and was able to go back to see the lives of women now long dead.
